Since 1979, Dekker Irrigation has designed and installed thousands of residential and commercial irrigation systems across the greater Calumet Region. Over the course of those years, we have continually applied the latest technology and best installation practices. This means that our customers have the most efficient irrigation systems of the highest quality and lowest maintenance. We also provide comprehensive services that include spring turn-on, fall turn-off, aeration, back flow test, and reconfiguration of systems due to home additions, decks, pools, fences and landscaping.
Our Story
Dekker Irrigation, founded in 1979 by Jim Dekker, was one of the first companies to install lawn irrigation systems in the Calumet Region. From Valparaiso to Orland Park, Dekker has built a reputation for installing reliable and efficient systems at competitive prices. We follow up with a complete range of maintenance services to assure that our systems stand the test of time.
In 2012, Jim decided to retire and Dekker was acquired by John Harangody. To this day, it remains a family owned business that places a high value on experience, continuity and customer service. Our top technicians have been with us for over twenty years and are knowledgeable and friendly. Our customers appreciate that they have specific knowledge of their irrigation system and look forward to seeing them each year.
